After starting live as a junior sales person, Mark eventually became MD and helped build one of the largest specialist workflow software companies in the UK and lead the sale of the business to Reed Elsevier in 2006 for over £20m. Since selling the business Mark has invested in 5 early start up businesses in Yorkshire, the most successful of which has grown to over £10m turnover in just 4 years. Mark will outline what he believes have been the keys to this success and the lessons learnt along the way, with a particular focus on how having a clear sales strategy is essential to growing your business rapidly.
